CereBree has announced the development of CereOnco, an AI-powered oncology platform designed to improve how cancer is detected, understood, and managed. The platform aims to address key gaps in cancer care through a connected system that brings together patient support, digital care tools, and AI-assisted diagnostics.

CereOnco is structured as a comprehensive patient support system intended to guide individuals through each stage of the cancer journey, from initial diagnosis to treatment and post-treatment recovery. Patients will have access to verified cancer information, tools to identify hospitals and specialists, options to schedule consultations, and a personalized dashboard where they can manage medical records, track appointments, receive medication reminders, and review reports. The platform also includes AI-assisted explanations to help patients better understand their medical data.

At the initial stage, CereOnco is focusing on breast cancer. As part of that effort, the platform includes an in-house developed Early Onco Detection system that supports clinicians in identifying cancer through medical imaging. Functioning as a second-read tool, it is intended to help detect patterns that may not be immediately visible during manual review, supporting earlier detection and more informed clinical decision-making.

CereOnco also includes mental and emotional support features. Patients will be able to connect with therapists, access a psycho-oncology AI assistant, and participate in a community where they can engage with other patients, survivors, and experts. These features are intended to address the psychological aspects of cancer care, which are often handled separately from treatment itself.

For healthcare providers, CereOnco offers a digital interface to manage patient interactions, coordinate follow-ups, and improve communication throughout treatment. The goal is to reduce gaps between patients and providers and support better continuity of care.

Future developments for the platform include tools for precision medicine to assist with personalized treatment planning, as well as AI-driven clinical trial matching to help eligible patients connect with relevant clinical studies.

Sunil Raina, Founder and CEO of CereBree, said, “CereOnco is part of our broader effort to build connected systems that support people through complex life journeys. In oncology, there is a clear need for better coordination between diagnosis, treatment, and patient support, and this platform is designed to address that.”

Arib Fatima, who is involved in the development of the oncology platform, added, “Our focus with CereOnco is to bring together diagnostics, patient support, and care coordination in a way that is accessible and easy to use. The goal is to simplify how patients and clinicians navigate cancer care.”

CereOnco is currently under development and will be introduced as part of CereBree’s broader platform focused on connecting healthcare, education, and workforce systems through AI technologies. About CereBree
